The relation of shot to shot

Today we examined how the duration of shots affect our understanding of it and we explored the narrative functions of editing.

We discussed a few keywords-Continuity, discontinuity,narrative, contenton and grpahic.

I know understand that when watching a clip, the shorter the duration, the less of a understanding of the clip but the longer the duration it gives you more time to understand the clip and process it in your mind and the subject within the shit and anyalse.
