The production chain

In todays lesson, we learnt to understand the film production chain.

We learnt 3 new key terms needed in Media studies, Colourist, Convergence and Context.

COLOURIST?!?

I had never heard of a Colourist before so the the fact that the position even existed was wierd, but since watching dramas and doccumentarys I have looked at the closing credits and recongnised the the title "colourist" this has lead me to further my knowledge of the "colourist" job role and how they contribute to scenes.

The production chain is as follows;
The pitch to a board of people, the development,principal photography, post production, sales agent,distribution,exhibition and finally marketing.
